About us

The International University Terre Citoyenne - UITC, is a university without walls that aims to implement a process of alliance to better mobilize, in the service of education and training of citizens, intelligence and the imagination of citizens.

It aims to build:

> An international forum for discussion / action and training that collects, enhances and projects into the future the experience of social organizations and civil society at international levels.

> Integrating the challenge of building a civic education for social leaders capables to cope with the global community, with the current challenges of globalization and with the 21st Century

> Integrating the complexity approach as a teaching and problematisation tool of issues and challenges of training citizens both in content as methods

> Combining the called formal training spaces (courses, classes, lecture halls, etc.) with time and means to discovery and exchange personal and group experiences adapted to their purpose (workshops visits, workshops, meetings, exchange of experiences, introspection, Summer University, global cooking, etc.)

> Using and combining, according to the objectives sought, various methods such as e-learning, semi presential training, and on campus education, webinars, the use of case studies in multiple dimensions (Ecadims), thematic reports and dph sheets, the proposal papers, videos and series "global café".

> Working together the academic world with the traditional social movements and popular education approach.
